My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Maura was found abandoned in a wire crate in front of our facility, she was scared and sad. The day after she came to us she delivered 6 puppies! This was last fall, she has been with us ever since. She has seen most of her puppies find loving homes but is still waiting for one of her own. She is on the small side and is a lot of fun!
Please apply if you would like to meet her!

More about this rescue

We are a humane society that was established in 1982. For quite some time we have worked without a physical facility doing neglect, cruelty investigations and follow-ups, as well as rescue and adoptions from the county shelter and directly from the community. We work with a humane society in New Hampshire and transport dogs there several times per year in addition to doing local adoptions. We have just finished building a small shelter/spay neuter clinic. We are located in an area that has a high-kill county shelter and believe that the only long term solution is to promote spaying and neutering in every way possible.
