Muffin was a stray picked up by Memphis Animal Services. She had a limp in her back leg, heartworms and facial scarring.

Muffin was placed on the euthanasia list.

One of our volunteers read Muffin’s shelter notes and became interested in learning more about her and possibly accepting her into the Hearts of Gold program. She passed the test! We took her in.

Muffin has a stellar temperament. She is confident, respectful, and spunky. She never meets a stranger. She is short and stout and looks like a miniature Mack truck. A Diamond in the Rough — buckle your seatbelts and watch the transformation.
