My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rudy is a 14+ year old male, 18 lbs

His dad passed and made sure he was taken care of before he did. His dad was happy that he landed with DRSF. Rudy even got to visit him one last time in hospice to say good bye.

Rudy is a mostly healthy boy with a heart murmur and a fatty growth on his belly, but he’s sweet and happy and has more life to live.

We are hoping that we can find Rudy a family where he can happily live out the rest of his life. He’s good with all people and other dogs.
Loves giving kisses, soft beds and hanging on the couch. He’s a wonderful boy and we are so glad he is safe with us. â¤ï¸

We take an application on all potential foster families that includes two non-family references, a vet reference, and a home visit. Our adoption fees help offset our vetting costs and are based on the age of the dog:

0-1 - $300

1-3 - $275

4-7 - $225

8+ - $150
