My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jade's mother Jewel (who is also up for adoption) was found by a lady in a rural area being attacked by a couple of dogs. She was in their yard trying to get some food. The lady that found her said this is an area where people dump dogs. When she got Jewel she noticed she was pregnant and checked with the home owner to see if it was their dog. The home owner said she was not their's and they had seen some other little dogs that looked like chihuahuas running around too. The lady did look for the other dogs but did not find them, she posted to ask other people in the area to look out for them but they were never found sadly. She posted for help on Jewel as she lived on a boat house and had no place for her. We were asked if we were able to take her on, how could we not help? Jewel had 6 beautiful babies February 15th 2023. We named her Jewel as she is precious and all her babies have gem names. Jade is fixed, micro chipped and have age appropriate shots. She has been dewormed every 3 weeks by the foster mum. Jewel is about 20lbs so Jade will be around that. She is your average fun loving puppy. With her having some beagle in her which is a hound an apartment would not be good or you might have some complaints. We are hoping to do a transport on Saturday 30th May.

All of us in the rescue have full time jobs as well as running the rescue so if you are interested in Jade please go to our website www.doginghampalacerescue.org for our application. Then email the application back to doginghamrescue@aol.com. The fees on our website are very out dated, we are waiting on the lady to update everything. Since covid hit, it is hard to get into vets offices and prices have gone way up. The adoption fee and transport fee is explained below.

We are based in the Nashville, TN area and have most of our dogs transported up north. The $400 adoption fee does not include the transport fee (will have a health certificate too). The transport fee is $200, so a total of $600. The transport fee is not refundable if things do not work out.
