My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Snowflake is a loving, cuddly and playful gal who'd love to go home with a permanent family, especially if they have another dog or two! She loves to play with her companions (canine or human), including running around outside and playing chase! She is completely housetrained and comfortable in a crate (especially if a doggie friend is near her). She is learning to walk on a leash and come when called off leash. Snowflake can be a little nervous when first meeting people but warms up quickly. She loves to be with people. In the past, she has sometimes been destructive when alone for long periods of time in new situations, but this issue has disappeared since getting more comfortable in her foster home, and “Snowfers” enjoys “chilling” with the resident dog there. She could be an ideal pet for someone who often works remotely and would love to have a doggie companion snoring beside their desk or keeping their feet warm, though working from home isn't necessary. Snowflake is a very affectionate dog who loves to please and hates to disappoint!

More about this shelter

The shelter has very active volunteer and foster programs. Volunteers walk dogs and help with cat care. Fosters take young, shy and injured animals into their homes to prepare them for adoption. Learn more on our website and consider getting involved today!
