Hi I’m Biskuit! I’m a little nervous but I’m worth getting to know! I am still learning that I can trust people so if you give me a little time and patience I’ll reward you with lots of love. I like meeting new people but I have some boundaries and personal space I prefer them to keep. I love playing with other dogs and I’m cat and kid friendly! I am not a fan of being confined so I will need a fenced yard to run and play. Being on a leash is still a work in progress and hopefully my new family will have patience to work with me on a few issues my prior life has created. I’m really a sweet boy and will be a faithful family member if you just give me a chance to love you! SDRD is a state licensed 501(c)3 non-profit no kill dog rescue and group foster home located in Topeka, KS.

It is our goal to network with other local rescues and shelters to save dogs that are at risk for being euthanized due to lack of space.

We are committed to educating the public on responsible pet ownership, the importance of spaying and neutering, along with the dangers of purchasing a dog from a pet store or puppy mill.
