My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Discover the extraordinary spirit of Allegra, a resilient 2.5-year-old survivor of a puppy mill who is ready to embrace life's beauty outside the confines of a cage. Her journey has been one of courage, and her heart is filled with the hope of finding a forever home where she can truly thrive.

Having conquered her past, Allegra now stands as a shining example of resilience. She's been spayed and is up to date on her shots, eagerly awaiting the chance to bond with a patient and compassionate soul who understands the value of love and patience. As she takes her first steps into a world of warmth and care, you can be the one to guide her every pawprint along the way.

Allegra's potential to flourish is boundless, and with the right environment, she's destined to be an incredible companion. Every little milestone she achieves is a cause for celebration, and you can be the witness to her heartwarming transformation.

If you're ready to open your heart and home to a remarkable soul who embodies the spirit of second chances, Allegra is waiting for you. Click the link to welcome her into your heart:  https://www.mastino-rescue-inc.org/familyprofile

Additional adoption info

Our rescue is breed-specific to the Neapolitan Mastiff, and while this breed is amazingly unique, it is certainly not for everyone. We want to ensure every dog's next home is truly FOREVER, so we are very careful with our placements.

* Due to same sex-aggression being so common among bully breeds, we do not place Neos in homes with another bully breed of the same sex (they must be opposite sex).

* Due to insurance and liability purposes, we do not adopt to families with children under 10-years old living in the home.

* We strongly prefer our adopters to have a secure fenced yard (no electric fences), but we do make a few exceptions.

* You must own your own home (no renters, please).

* Previous guardian breed experience is strongly preferred

We are a foster-based rescue, and our dogs are spread out across the USA, so we do not have adoption events.
