My name is Oatie and I am a 9 month Australian Shepard mix. I am full of energy and spunk as is a common attribute of my breed. Which means I am also very smart and catch on to things quickly. I know how to sit, stay, come and lay down. The kind hoomans taking care of me are working on having me heel when we take walks. I am eager to please so I do a really good job except when I get distracted by other doggos and strangers.

I am working through some stranger danger so I would really love someone who is willing to be patient and help me work through my fears. I live with another dog who I love to herd. He is older so he doesn't really want to play. But I am very kind to him and generally stay out of his way.

It would be super cool to have a yard where I can run and play and chase my toys (tennis balls being my favorite)! Oh also, I love having my belly rubbed and will offer it up every chance I get! I am spayed and up to date on all vaccinations (rabies, influenza, bordatella, etc).
