My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Harley is a 15MO blue male with natural ears who came into rescue because he started grumbling at the six young children with whom he lived. He is a well-behaved boy who loves attention, playing with his toys, and patrolling the yard for squirrels, birds, and the occasional feral cat. Harley is crate trained and will sometimes just go in on his own to hang out there. He is currently living with a 9YO female Dane he respects and will play with at her pace until she tells him she’s had enough. Although still a pup, Harley doesn’t have high energy all the time. He will entertain himself and enjoys being with his people. He knows sit, down, and give paw and respects barrier gates in the house. He rides very well and loves to run around the back yard, but hasn’t been leash walked yet. Harley also likes to run up and down the fence with the two small dogs next door and will even poke his nose through occasionally.

Based on Harley’s history and high prey drive in his foster home, he can only be placed in a home with children 12YO and up and without cats or other small animals. Harley came into rescue in March 2023.
