Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meatball ("Meaty") is a WONDERFUL, smart, hilarious 6-year-old boy with a ton of personality and brings so much joy to our family. He is a rescue and we've only had him for a few months, but he adjusted to living with us very quickly, all things considered. Meaty had been neglected for some time, and we've had to catch up on his various health issues (eye problems, allergies, weight). All of his health issues are very common with Olde English Bulldogges, which is why we would prefer an adopter who is familiar with the breed and knows what kind of care they require. Meaty is super gentle and tolerant of kids (we have an 8 & 4 yr. old), but he is unbelievably strong and heavy. Our main issue is that we live with my elderly parents and he has knocked my mom over (by accident), and because of her physical condition we cannot risk that. He gets excited when someone comes to the door and charges at the door, and while he has been very trainable so far, we have not been able to stop that.
