My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Blondie!

Hey everyone, my name is Blondie, and I bet you could never guess how I got my name! I'm 15 years old now and weigh just over 15 pounds. Even though I'm a little older, I'm still doing just wonderfully and living life to the fullest for my age. I get along with other dogs quite well and make them my long-lost best friends before you know it! I've lived with a cat in the past with no issues as well. I don't know if I would do well around small kids since they can be a little rowdy, but I don't think I'd have a problem with calmer, more low-key kiddos. I'm a real good girl and do all my pottying outside. In fact, I really enjoy being outside enjoying the warmth and wandering in the yard.

All in all, I'm a pretty healthy little lady! I have something called pulmonary fibrosis that I take some meds for, but foster mom has only had to give me some when it's been really nice outside, and I spent most of my day getting my sniffs in and overdid it a little bit. I promise to be the best girl I can be in my new forever home and love my people unconditionally. I really couldn't imagine life any other way! Do you have a little bit of love in your heart to give me in return?

Disclaimer: It is VERY difficult even for a veterinarian to tell the exact age of a dog over two years old. From one vet to another, we can get different age estimates on the same dog and they can vary by several years. We are only making an educated guess based on a few factors like teeth, fur color, and overall body condition, but for dogs who have not been given adequate vet care and food, it can be even more difficult. Every dog is an individual, and we do our very best to age appropriately but make no guarantees as to the age of any dog in our program.
