My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi everybody! I'm Mezcal! I am a one year old Xolo/Chihuahua and I am just the sweetest boy. I want to be in your lap whenever it's available, snuggling close to you. Being a puppy and a Xolo, I have a lot of energy. For this reason, I need a home with a fenced yard. I love to run like the wind to get my energy out. I'm super speedy and would probably have a lot of fun at Fast CAT or agility. Or you can just play fetch with me. I love to go get the toy or ball and bring it back to you so you can throw it again and again. I love other dogs and really, really want them to play with me. So a good-natured dog about my size (15 lbs) who would want to play with me would be nice. Not all dogs appreciate my puppy energy so I need a buddy who won't mind how playful I am. I tend to cry and get sad when I'm apart from my people, so a home where someone is around a lot of the time is what I'm looking for. I love to sleep in bed with my foster parents. I get in one spot and sleep soundly in that spot all night long. I like kids too, but sometimes I jump up, so little kids (under 6) are not a good match. I'm very curious and love watching what everyone is doing. My foster mom says I am so lovable. She holds me and kisses me and I eat it up! I am just the nicest little boy hoping for my perfect home!
