My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Siska will change what you understand about dogs. She is THAT special.

Much beloved by our staff who recognize and appreciate that this girl has it all: brains, brawn and beauty. She wants to learn, practice, work, and has a special devotion to her people. When we are recipient of the stars in her eyes and a smile so sweet and warm--we just melt into the floor--every time. That could be you!

Best Girl Siska!

Siska is strong, bold, and fit, her silky black coat is soft and smooth, and she can handle anything you send her way: agility...check! nosework...easy! climb a mountain...peasy! She’d follow you to the end of the earth…especially if you have her toy. Besides you, ball = love.

Siska has so many talents, it's hard to know what to highlight. She really does like to do it all! She has had a ton of training and has worked in the outside world doing conservation detection (she is brilliant at this and would love the chance to do more!) She loves to learn and is easy to teach new things. As a workaholic, she would thrive in an environment where someone asks A LOT of her! She wants to do things for you all the time.

She is good at everything--sports, work, obedience...even tricks! Her relationships, however, are people-oriented, not dog-oriented. Just as she communicates about the things she loves (you?), she also voices her opinion about the 'things' she doesn’t, and that can be other dogs. But don’t worry! Her abundant obedience skills help her deal with discomfort by looking at you, moving away, and heeling at your side.

Siska would do best as the only animal in the home and preferably with adults (or maybe older teenagers) and with her own yard so she can play or train (with you!) without being interrupted.

This firecracker of super-smarty-fun is ready to rocket into your life! Are you ready to catch her?
