***URGENT URGENT, WE ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF CRISIS FOLKS!!!***
What is going on you ask? Well, it's terrible! I haven't been cuddled with or held for like 10 minutes now! Don't people know that is vital for me? Why else would I follow them around and keep bumping into their ankles. They need to know I am here and ready for lovings?! My name is Lyra and I am the definition of sweet.
My foster says I am the baby of the litter. If that title gets me more cuddles then I will happily accept it. I love being held and coddled. I am on the calmer side compared to my siblings and am content to just chill and get lovings. Now, don't misread me. I am still a puppy so I enjoy wrestling with my siblings, eating, napping, and exploring the yard. It's just that I am not as crazy about it as the other pups. I love being with people so I think I would happy going places if it meant being with them. That also includes walks and hikes. With that said, I am on the calmer side so if I could choose I would probably like a calmer and more chill household.
I enjoy hanging out with kids because they always tell me how cute and soft I am. When I get playful I do still use my teeth and sharp claws, so the kids should be older so we don't have to worry about me becoming too rough with them. I have not met a cat yet, but I hear they are usually pretty chill which would match my energy well. I do enjoy playing with my siblings now and then and do well with the bigger dogs. I don't seem to be dependent on them though and would probably do great as an only dog. Before you get too excited, my new owner would need to be home a lot in that case. I am much too young to be left in a home all by myself for a full workday.
I have not shown any interest in playing fetch, probably because toys haven't become a real interest for me yet. I am working on my potty training but haven't quite grasped the concept yet. I have also been introduced to the kennel.

Please I am begging you though, only apply to adopt me if you can keep me forever. If you can't keep me through ALL of my life's changes, don't be the one that makes me have to be passed around a few months/years down the line. That just isn't fair to me.
I would NEVER give up on you, so please don't give up on me. I want to be your forever...not your until dog.

~Lyra is our little girl that shadows you wherever you are and gives you a little ankle bump to let you know she is there. She wants to be picked up and carried around. She is the "baby" of the group. She will but doesn't initiate wrestle time with her litter mates. She is fine sitting on your lap watching the others act uncivilized. She is the second smallest of the group and usually gets a little extra attention from her foster mom. She's a cuddly girl that loves to give kisses. She will be a great companion just like her momma.
My ideal home would be with someone home that is most of the day.~
