My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Very alpha male dog. More than I can handle on my own. Needs a strong trainer with experience dealing with hard headed, stubborn, dominant types of dogs. He is not a bad dog at all, just not fitting in to our household. He is stressing out my senior dog too much for me to make it work. Disclosure: He HATES getting into vehicles which is another reason he needs a new home. I like to take road trips and cannot keep a dog that battles me every time it's time to get into a vehicle. He is fine on a leash, though I use a halter. He does bark at strangers when outside due to his protective and territorial nature. He is not neutered yet as the vet recommends that it be done after he is one year old. Basically Sammy just needs a lot of stimulation and attention. He has a lot of freedom outside as I have a very large fenced in yard. I will not rehome him to a home that does not have a large fenced in yard. He would not do well at all in an apartment.
