Hi, I’m Cherokee and I’m the whole package, looks, and personality all in one. If you’re looking for an affectionate, goofball of a husky, I’m your girl! I am around 10 years old with lots of zest for life!

Like most huskies, I love playtime! I mostly love to wrestle with my foster brother, although I have been known to get the occasional Zoomies. Even though I love to play, I understand boundaries and leave dogs alone when I can tell they’re not ready to play. I have not been tested with cats.

I love going on walks, there’s so much to see outside! Because I get a little excited about walks, I can pull a little when we first start, but my foster mom is working with me on this and I’m getting better. Sometimes I’ll bark at something going on outside or if I’m feeling particularly chatty, I’ll be sure to start awoo-ing.

Another thing that I love: treats! I am very food motivated and I already know how to sit and give a paw. I might also give you my paw if I would like pets and haven’t gotten any recently. It’s my gentle reminder that I love getting love.

I would do my best in a home where someone is around most of the day, I just love having company. I will be your shadow while you are up doing things and curl up next to you on the couch when it’s time to rest.

I am potty and crate trained, but the crate isn’t my favorite place in the world. I might let you know that I’m unhappy about being in the crate by singing you the song of my people. That’s not too unusual though because I love to talk.
