Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Gil!
This handsome man is a purebred Himalayan that was surrendered for urinating outside of the litter box. We've been working on correcting this behavior by using Cat Attract litter, scooping the box twice daily, and getting Gil neutered. He does seem to have made progress and has gone outside of the box 3 or 4 times in the past two months.
While figuring out his litter box issues, we also found that Gil has a very high protein level in his blood. Despite submitting multiple tests, we have still not found the exact cause for the abnormality but have ruled out cancer. Because of this, we are looking for an adopter who understands that Gil has a medical issue that we likely need an Internal Medicine specialist to help get to the root of the problem. Gil does not act sick and has been doing very well in foster care - he has a great appetite and has put on some weight!
With Gil's health issues, we will be selective in approving an adopter (looking for someone with Himalayan experience and/or established veterinarian).
