My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Brick is a very handsome boy. He is a 3 year old that was found wandering in town and the Sheriff's Department picked him up.
He is a mixed breed--Bully for sure, maybe Lab, maybe something even bigger (Great Dane?). He is such a friendly good ball who is always ready--ready to play, ready to ride, ready to hike, ready to do whatever you want to do. He does like to play frisbee. He is a big guy in the 55-60 lb. range and he is "thick as a brick". Because he is a big boy and he would benefit from some training of basic commands. He does okay on a leash, but simple commands would be beneficial. He does get along with other dogs and is quite active so he would do well with an active family. He is UTD with hos shots, dewormed, heartworm negative and we will neuter and chip him. if you would like to meet Brick give us a call and arrange a meeting. He would love to meet you.

More about this shelter

Washington Wilkes Animal Shelter is a small, open door shelter. We strive to save every adoptable animal that is surrendered, orphaned, abandoned, abused and neglected. All animals are spayed/neutered at time of adoption, vaccinated. All dogs are heartworm tested/treated at time of adoption.

All procedures administered to the shelter animals are funded solely on donations. We are in constant need of monetary donations to continue the vetting of these animals.
