My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cairo is, in short, a BIG baby. He has a sweet soul but because of his size, he will need an experienced handler.

Cairo belongs to my boyfriend and he and I live together now (5 months). However, we cannot keep him because my 10 year old Autistic son is horrified of Cairo. We've tried to help him with this fear but after 5 months, he's still just as scared.

My boyfriend's 5 year old son gets along with Cairo perfectly! Cairo is very gentle with him. I also have a 2 year old Lhasa Apso and he and Cairo are best buddies... Despite the enormous size difference :-)

Therefore, this is a very hard decision for us. Cairo can't live in the house because of my son's fear so he's been bouncing from the garage to the backyard. With Summer fast approaching, we cannot keep up this routine. It's not fair to Cairo.

Even though this is breaking our hearts, our prayer is that a loving family opens their home to him and provides all the love Cairo deserves.
