Cersei is a 3-year-old female Cane Corso/Pit Bull/Rottweiler mix that is looking for her forever home!
Cersei is a very sweet girl that has been through professional training, and listens great with consistency! She thrives with obedience training, as it helps her build confidence with her people and her environment. She is very smart and already knows sit, lay down, come, and paw. Cersei is shy at first but warms up quickly. She is lover and has some very cute snorts and grumbles.
Unfortunately, this beautiful girl needs a home with no other dogs. She also is very leery of men, so any men in the home will have to be patient with her. Once she warms up, though, she is good to go!
Cersei does well with cats, and has previously done well around a couple young kids. Due to her size; however, we are strongly recommending a home with children aged 10+. Homes with children will be considered as long as manners and boundaries are established by adopter/parent.
An adopter with large breed experience is preferred. Her dog trainer has graciously donated three sessions to anyone who adopts her within an hour of Lexington to ensure she can adapt as well as possible!
Do you think Cersei could be the perfect dog to join your forever family? Her adoption fee is $175. You can apply to adopt Cersei at www.lexpitcrew.org/adopt.

More about this rescue
Lexington Pit Crew desires to inform and educate people about breeds that so many people view as vicious and dangerous. Lexington Pit Crew wants to help build a positive reputation for the dogs that would otherwise be deemed unadoptable simply based on their breed. Over the course of the last 8 years, LPC has saved hundreds of dogs. This is a team effort. A team made up of volunteers. Volunteers who have families, jobs that actually pay them, and other responsibilitiess that require their time. They volunteer because it’s a passion for them. They desire to give their time because they value the lives of the defenseless animals we fight for each day.
