Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Sassy. I am a one year old Jack Russell Terrier. I am darn cute and you can’t tell me otherwise. I am a pretty typical JRT. I am very inquisitive, friendly, and energetic. I will speak my mind, so apartment life will just not do. Toys are just the best. I am pretty good at fetch, keep away and tug if I may brag. If I am being completely honest, I sometimes think the leash is a big tug of war toy and when I see you get it out I am totally ready to play this game even if you are not. I like other dogs and would love another young dog friend who can appreciate the terrier in me and who wants to play. I do like to chase small critters, so a household with cats, bunnies, or other small animals would not be a good fit for me. I like to go on walks, but still need to learn not to pull (especially if I catch sight of a squirrel). I am working on potty training. I’m pretty smart, so I am not worried about mastering this skill. I am definitely NOT a couch potato (no Netflix and chill for me). I would thrive best with an active family who will want to involve me in their adventures. I would probably do well in a family with dog savvy kids (ages 8 and up). Because I am an active breed, a house with a fenced yard that is at least 4 feet high (taller would be even better) is necessary so I can have a safe space to get my wiggles, jumps, and zoomies out. Sassy is spayed, up to date on all vaccines, had a heart worm test, on heartworm preventative, de-wormed, and microchipped. Sassy’s adoption fee is $350.00.
