My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We adopted Opie when he was just under a year old. We have two kids (1 and 3 years old), so we made sure Opie was good with kids before we adopted him. He has been great with the kids. We have had him for about 6 months.

We found he needs a lot of exercise. We live in the city and both work. With two kids to take care of as well, we found that too often Opie's exercise fell to the bottom of the priority list. With a walk or run each day, Opie is relaxed and loving. If he goes for a few days without it, he starts to get very energetic in the house.

He is house trained if he is let out regularly and stays away from people food. I said he wasn't house trained in the profile because he has a way of finding his way into the toddler's food and then will have an accident in the house. If he sticks to hard kibbles, there are no issues with house training.

We just found that we aren't giving Opie the attention he needs. We are not in a rush and want to find him the right home.
