My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Buttons!

Buttons is a well-behaved girl & would love to be your couch cuddle buddy or road trip partner.

Approximately 2-3yo, ~40-45lbs, spayed, up to date on shots, heartworm negative, microchipped & crate trained.

She loves all humans, big & small, would need to be cat tested & would probably prefer to be your only K9 family member.

Buttons currently resides at the shelter & we would love to get her into a foster or forever home.

If interested in fostering or adopting Buttons, please complete an application at sapamo-rescue.org.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

If you are interested in adopting a pet from us we first require an adoption application filled out. Once the application is submitted one of our adoption counselors will contact you to set up a formal meet and greet. If the decision is made that it is a good fit between you and the pet we will then set up a home visit. Often times the meet and greet and home visit can be done at the same time for your convenience.
Very young kittens are required to be adopted in pairs if there are no cats currently in your home.
Pets spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations, micro chipped and tested for internal parasites and other disease such as heart-worms and FeLuke and FIV.
We accept the adoption fee and a formal adoption contract when the pet is turned over to you. Should the pet not work out in your home or should a life changing event happen and you are no longer able to keep the pet we ask that the pet be returned to us or that we are notified of new ownership. We will always take our pets back, however, the fee is non refundable.
