Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Scout is a happy beagle in spite of all he has gone through. He's playful but calm and loves getting lots of people attention. He's friendly to all dogs and does not mind cats. Poor Scout was initially positive for heart worms & Ehrlicchia (a tick borne disease similar to Lyme's) but has finally completed his treatments and ready to go home. He had a dental and removal of a benign growth when he went in to be neutered. Scout is ready to enjoy the good things in life and the love of a good family. He is about 4 years old and 32 pounds. Please help Scout find the loving home he deserves.
We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821).
Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes.

Scout's adoption fee is $375. This also covers all age-appropriate shots, spay/neuter, vetting & microchipping.
**If you are coming to an adoption event to see a certain dog/cat, please email ahead of time to make sure that dog/cat will be there that day. Please email 1-2 days before the event, as some animals are placed during the week and our list is constantly changing.
