My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mr. Rinnovo - a sweet senior gentleman with lots of love to give to the right home! He loves to cuddle with his person and gets along well with other dogs and cats too. Rinnovo does get a little wobbly and confused at times - we think he has doggie dementia so he needs someone with patience. For this reason, we don't think a home with kids would be a good match for him at this stage of his life. He is good about using his potty pads. Rinnovo isn't big on being picked up because he is partially blind, but he is big on being petted and cherished. Do you have a special place in your heart for an "old man" to live out his retirement years in peace? If so, let us know you are interested in him!To have your home considered for adoption, read about our adoption process or fees, and find out about interstate transport (dogs only), please visit our website.

Long Way Home makes no guarantees on breed--most animals we receive from shelters are mixed breeds. As long as they need rescue, that's what is most important to us.

More about this rescue

Long Way Home was created to provide the last stop for animals displaced from their homes, deemed "unadoptable" by other rescues, or that need a level of care their previous owners or other shelters are unable or unwilling to provide.
