My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Miko (formerly Volt) is on the search of his furever home in Vancouver Island
He's currently in Nanaimo, BC

Miko is a neutered Jindo mix boy, about 1 ½ years old, 28 kg

He’s good and gentle with people, kids and dogs, and doesn’t chase cats. He tends to be scared of loud noises and sudden touches/movements.

He’s about medium energy level and is leash/crate/house-trained. No barker. He loves going for walks and gets along with other dogs.

Miko was found living outside with a short chain.

More about this rescue

Adopt Korean Rescue is a volunteer-based federally registered not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping homeless and unwanted dogs in South Korea find a new home in Canada.

We love Korean dogs. Many of them live in chains, give birth on the side of the road, or wander around with their pups. Some of them get caught and end up at dog meat farms or high-kill shelters in South Korea. They luckily meet us just before euthanasia or after many years of living in dog meat farms. We exist to hold their paws and help them find a forever home in Canada full of joy and happiness.
