Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We need to find a furever home for our Penny girl (Rottweiler/Pittie/Boxer mix). She lived with us for most of her life. She will be 4 years old in April and we are saddened by this decision after spending so many years bonding with her. She's our baby and best friend.
Penny has some great things going for her: She is super sweet and loving when she warms up to you and she gets along amazingly with cats. She is athletic and LOVES playing with balls and toys—she will be your buddy in the back yard or can keep herself entertained for hours. She can be a very goofy girl! She has had leash training and with someone with strength and voice, if walking in a heavily trafficked area, she can be a good trail companion.
Pennys new family needs to be trauma informed, she was abused and is fearful of new people. She uses her voice and body (sometimes muzzle/teeth) to show how uncomfortable she is. In recent months Penny is nipping to communicate her no. Experienced pit mix dog owners ideal.
