Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cooper is a male, neutered, 45-lb Australian Shepherd (100% purebred), about 4 years old, originally from Louisiana. This intelligent and affectionate pup is looking for a forever home that offers the peaceful environment that he needs to thrive.
Cooper is a reactive dog, and gets anxious when seeing other dogs on the leash. Cooper would really benefit from more professional training once he settled in.
He would do best with a person or couple who have a quiet home in a rural setting, preferably with a large fenced-in yard. Ideal owner would be someone who works from home.
Cooper is fully vaccinated and has chronic bronchitis which is being managed by taking Prednisone, which will need to be monitored by a vet.
Cooper loves puzzle games, tug-of-war rope pull toys, running, and vigorous belly rubs.
Cooper is leash and harness trained, as well as crate trained. He is fine being left alone in the crate for short periods and up to five hours.
