Mary
Dilute calico - born 3/2020
Mary probably thinks her full name is "Oh my goodness, that cat is just so beautiful" because she hears it a lot! She is not just beauty…she’s also brains; she gives high fives and rings a bell for treats. She loves alone time, staring out the window in contemplation, or simply taking a nap. Mary knows how to turn on the charm at meal time and will rub up against your legs. Mary tends to despise other cats, believing she doesn't need to share a house with other pets. Mary came to us almost a year ago with her kittens who have long been adopted. She wants to have her opportunity to live in a home now.

More about this shelter
Animal Lifeline of Iowa, Inc is a special needs, no-kill animal shelter that accepts unowned dogs/puppies and cats/kittens that are disabled, injured, neglected, pregnant, nursing and orphans requiring bottle feeding. Along with veterinary care, our army of caring volunteers nurse the animal back to health and when healthy we place the animal up for adoption. Our founding belief is that every animal deserves a loving home and should not be killed simply because they have been at the shelter too long.
We are a 501 (c)3 charitable organization and rely solely on donations. We receive no government funding.
