COURTESY POST
Say hello to lovely, IVY…
This pretty, 4-year-old, 69-pound blue girl with gorgeous amber eyes arrived at the local animal shelter neglected and with a horrible skin condition. Thanks to the extra attention of a dedicated Animal Control Officer, Ivy is now BLOSSOMING!
Ivy is friendly, happy, and as sweet as can be. She wags her tail with excitement when she sees anyone. Serious butt-wiggling, too, if you’re one of her favorites.
She’s affectionate, loves people, and will jump on your lap and give kisses. Loves attention, petting, and goes belly-up for tummy rubs.
Ivy knows her sit command, plays fetch, and plays with toys but is most content when sitting close to her person. She’s a Velcro kind of gal!
Pulls on leash. Will benefit from basic obedience and leash training.
Ivy’s been through a lot in her short life and deserves only the best. We are hoping her special someone shows up soon!
