Kiski is a gentle soul, a 11 year + Aussie Shep x, who came to us from a good Samaritan who found him walking the streets of Anchorage. Attempts to locate a former owner were unsuccessful so he was adopted out of Animal Care and Control and came into our sanctuary program as a "senior" in need of care. He needed some extensive health care related to his teeth and eyes so that care has been provided and he has recovered. He has limited sight but is able to navigate his environment well, however a ranch style home with a fenced yard would provide maximum support and safety. We are looking for a sanctuary foster home or an adoptive home where we will provide sanctuary support. He can cohabitate with another dog who would be a match for his age and activity level.
