My name is Clover!

We need to rehome sweet and friendly Clover, our 2-year-old female pit mix we recently adopted from Austin Animal Center. Our senior-aged cat is not adjusting to her as we had hoped, even with the help of a pet behaviorist. If not for needing to prioritize our cat's wellbeing, we would never let go of Clover. Clover will likely do best in a household without cats. She's a gem and we are absolutely heartbroken. Clover is house-trained and crate-trained. She sleeps through the night 8-9 hours without a peep. She knows the "sit," "find it," and "touch" commands. Clover enjoys having a yard to play fetch in, and loves daily walks. We are easily able to leash walk her around our neighborhood where she happily greets other people and dogs. She did well in dog playgroup at Austin Animal Center. She loves to chew on bones, her Kong, and stuffies. She enjoys cuddling, and has been able to entertain herself and rest for long naps on the rug or couch solo. Clover is an absolute joy.
