My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Franklin!

Hi, I’m Franklin! I’m 8 years old and was found as a stray. My absolute favorite thing is people. I love young people, older people, kids - really anyone willing to hold me and give me attention. I love to snuggle, and I could stand to gain a little weight. I’m only 6lb! I wear a belly band on occasion since I just got neutered, and sometimes I try to mark. Otherwise, I go outside like I’m supposed to. I love to cross my paws and close my eyes while you scratch my ears or head. I enjoy being social, and I get along with the other dogs my foster mom has, but I like slow introductions. My biggest priority is attention. Can you give me all the love?

Disclaimer: It is VERY difficult even for a veterinarian to tell the exact age of a dog over two years old. From one vet to another, we can get different age estimates on the same dog and they can vary by several years. We are only making an educated guess based on a few factors like teeth, fur color, and overall body condition, but for dogs who have not been given adequate vet care and food, it can be even more difficult. Every dog is an individual, and we do our very best to age appropriately but make no guarantees as to the age of any dog in our program.
