Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Zia was rescued from Taos Pueblo at 2 mos. old. She spent some time in a kennel, then came home with us to Texas. We were smitten. She is affectionate, easy going, obedient, and very smart. She is amazing with children and loves other dogs. She will play for hours. She really needs a home with at least one other dog, preferably a young dog with lots of energy. She LOVES to play. We have 2 outside cats: Zia loves to play with them--they do not love to play with her. She's never aggressive with them. She leaves our chickens alone. We have no fence, and she does not wander away. My husband and I are busy and older, and she needs a young family with energy. She is crate trained and very housebroken. She is leash trained and will come, sit, lay down, etc. She has separation anxiety and will chew her crate mat if left alone. She also chews and eats rugs and wood. She is not afraid of thunder storms. Her mom is a husky, dad a red heeler maybe? She's 11 mos. and full grown.
