Nixon and his brother Norton were abandoned at a rural property. Nixon is the braver of the pair and was the fastest to trust. He will now call to his humans when he sees them and loves to get pets. He is playful and loves to snuggle his brother after a good play with him. A quiet indoor home with his brother and lots of playtime would be his dream future. He is up to date with his vaccines, has been flea treated and dewormed, is FIV/FeLV negative and has been neutered.

An adoption application can be found at www.oxfordcountyanimalrescue.com (click on Adopt, then Cats for Adoption, then scroll to the bottom of the page). We require 2 non-familial references (including contact numbers) as well as permission to speak with your vet.
Please note that yearly vet visits are a requirement for all our adopted kitties. If this is not your past practice, your application will not move forward.
You must be 21 years old to adopt. The adoption fee is $200.
It may take up to 72 hours to approve your application. Please provide all requested information, including contact numbers, to help expedite the process. Repeated phone calls and emails will not move your application along.
We are a volunteer, foster based rescue. We are not able to facilitate meet and greets before an application is received. You are not able to meet multiple kitties to see if one fits as the animals may be fostered in different locations.
