My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Waffles is a playful, happy and loving young kitty. He has a glossy black fur coat and honey-colored eyes - quite a dashing fellow! Waffles is an active kitty with lots of energy, but he loves to sleep next to his person and will make little chirps when he'd like some pets. He's an affectionate young guy. Waffles offers all the fun of a young kitten but is past the baby training stages.

Waffles has been living in a foster home and is well socialized to people and other cats. He's been neutered and fully vaccinated.

A great way to bring a new kitty into the home is to adopt a pair - if you're considering this we have many choices who could be Waffles' buddy. Waffles is currently living in a foster home but can come to RAIN for a meet and greet - for more information call Judy at home 530 209-5139.

Additional adoption info

We are in a rural location and cover a large area with small communities far apart. We tailor our adoption process to fit the needs of each adoption, whether it be a home visit or other specific situation. Adoptions are allowed to proceed only after careful checking of the situation for each animal.

RAIN Thrift store is open daily at the address above. Adopters can meet the pets there that are currently available for adoption. We're in the process of setting up with other websites to add our photos to expand coverage for our adoptable pets.

More about this rescue

Rescued Animals In Need is a no kill organization whose main focus is rescuing lost, abandoned, abused, neglected or unwanted animals and helping them find their forever homes. We work hard to reduce the number of unwanted dogs and cats by providing education and financial assistance (when available) for spay/neuter programs to help prevent unwanted and uncontrolled pregnancies for animals in our communities. Including a program for the voiceless and often ignored feral cats. We have full non-profit 501(c)3 status with the State of California.
