Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bono is a 10 month old 35 lb Moyen (medium sized) Goldendoodle puppy. He came to us as an owner surrender having been purchased from a commercial breeder. His previous owner was unprepared to deal with the needs of a puppy and sadly had not researched what would be involved in helping him adjust.
Bono is doing great in his foster home that he shares with 2 other dogs.( there are no cats in the home). He’s crate trained, potty trained and walks well on a leash.
Timid when meeting new people, especially men, he does much better with a canine friend to help him feel secure and for that reason his furever home must have at least one other well balanced dog. Having another dog around will play a big part in helping him in his future.
Containment is key so a physical fenced in yard will help to safeguard him against potentially getting spooked while he acclimates to all the sights, sounds and smells in his new home. Once he bonds with you he will give you his devotion and you will get to witness his playful personality while he showers you with affection. Leaning in for a reassuring hug is how he shows he trusts. He does have a coat that will require regular grooming to keep him looking and feeling his best.
