Hi! My name is Dawson (named after the famed Dawson's Creek Character). I am a border collie x cattle dog/heeler puppy. My mama gave birth to me in a Utah County shelter. Luckily she was pulled by Herding Haven rescue the day she delievered, so I was able to spend my infancy in a foster home. I am now ready to find my furever home! Maybe it's with you? Let me tell you a little bit about myself. Like the character I am named after, I am charismatic, social, outgoing and a real "looker". I'm very smart and love to learn new things (especially if I get rewarded with treats!). I am athletic and would love an active family who will take me on lots out outdoor adventures. I already know how to walk nicely on a leash, am crate-trained, and will "sit" when you ask me to!.I love other dogs. Small/young children make me nervous so a home without toddlers is a must.
