Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Huck!
Birthday: September 23rd, 2022
Breed: German Shepherd Mix
Weight: 60#
Heartworm: Negative and on Trifexis
Huck’s mom was found on September 3rd. We took mom to the vet for her last round of vaccines, and we discovered that she was pregnant and due in 3 days! She had 10 puppies on September 23rd.
Huck is a very sweet boy that is full of energy! He has been around other dogs of all sizes his whole life, and he has been introduced to a cat a couple of times with no issues. He has spent some time with small children, but he is a little too excited to be around them. Huck loves being outside with lots of room to run around and play with his littermates and foster siblings. He also enjoys going on walks or hikes honestly, he loves doing anything where he can expel some of his energy. We recommend that he is adopted by a family with no kids or older kids (probably 9 yrs. old +) and preferably another dog that he can play with.
He has been sleeping in a kennel a night and some during the day. He does well in the kennel, but he does cry sometimes. He knows sit, no, kennel and place. Even though it is so exciting to meet new people we are working on sitting to get attention instead of jumping and nipping.
