Meet our super playful and goofy guy named Tobi! Tobi is about 1.5 years old and he is a really cool dog! He was surrendered to our shelter when his family no longer had time for him. We believe Tobi is some kind of Shepherd mix. Tobi is quite a large boy who loves to get attention and pets. Tobi loves a good butt scratch and will lean up against you for more. Tobi is food motivated and even more tennis ball motivated! He is a smart dog who already knows how to sit and give paw. We are told Tobi is house trained and crate trained. He is definitely clean in his kennel and prefers to use the bathroom outside in our backyard. Tobi is a really great dog who would do well in an active family who loves large breed dogs. He is good with dogs and seems to be fine with cats as well. Tobi can go to a home with children 12 years who have large dog experience.

MAC IS OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK (M-F 8-4pm) (Sat-Sun 10-4pm) Applications must be submitted and approved BEFORE a meet and greet can be scheduled to meet an animal. Appts to meet dogs can made to suit your schedule, please email/call for an appt. We do prefer to be contacted by email for adoption inquiries at Adopt@savingpawsct.org. You must be 21 years of age to adopt with valid ID. There is a short application for adoption, however if you do not own your home, or you own a condo, we must speak with your landlord or housing association giving permission to dogs/cats. Bully breed specific permission is required if you rent or own a condo. If you own your home, proof of home ownership is required. If there are other pets in the home they must be licensed (if a dog) and up to date on vaccinations. If there is another dog in the home a dog interaction must be done at the shelter before adoption, to ensure the safety and well being of all pets. All children in the home need to be declared and brought down to meet the animal.
Applications must be submitted and approved BEFORE a meet and greet can be scheduled to meet an animal.

An approved application does not guarantee an adoption. We do not hold animals for meet and greet appointments.

ALL ANIMALS ARE SPAYED AND NEUTERED BEFORE THEY GO HOME.
