Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Tater is a Potcake dog from Anguilla. After a long flight to the U.S., she found her first family, where her name was Rosie. She loved playing with her brothers, but when they began fighting over her, she was rehomed for her safety and is now with us. We have 2 other female Potcake dogs, and she loves playing with them but is so frightened of one they sometimes fight when they get too close.
We love Tater and so does her former family. She’s been through so much we are all working together to find her a forever home.
Ideally, her furever home has no dogs. Cats are OK (her first home has 2 and they all got along).
Tater is sweet, soft, cuddles, sits under your desk and follows you around. She is potty and leash trained, will “sit” and “stay” until you say “release” before she eats.
She may be shy at first. She really wants to please you (she’ll wag her tail and run around when you come home) and wants someone who will spend time with her and help her feel loved and safe.
