ROCKO is now available for adoption!
Woof! Hey there, folks! The name's Rocko, and I'm here to tell you my tail-wagging tale. I may be just a little 15-pound Yorkie mix, but let me assure you, I've got a heart full of love and a spirit that's ready to soar!
You see, I started my journey as a rescue pup, but now I'm ready to find my forever home. I'm just one year old, so I'm still a young pup with plenty of energy to spare. I absolutely adore playing with other dogs, kids, and adults alike. I prefer to be in the company of larger dogs.
I'm a clever little guy, or so my foster parents say. I've already mastered some tricks like sitting, lying down, giving my paw, and staying, but I must admit, treats are my main motivation. Show me a tasty treat, and I'll do anything you ask!
I'm potty trained and quite the expert at holding it in while you snooze. No more midnight accidents or early morning surprises! And when it comes to bedtime, I'm happy to cozy up on the bed or couch with my humans, but I can take no for an answer if that's not your preference.
Let's talk about the fun stuff! I'm a big fan of car rides and long walks. There's just something magical about feeling the wind in my fur and exploring the world around me. If you're up for adventure, count me in! But don't worry, I'm just as content snuggling up with you for some quality cuddle time. I'm an expert at warm, fuzzy hugs and puppy kisses.
Now, here's something important to note. I would really thrive in a home with a fenced-in yard. I've got a whole lot of energy and love to let loose with some zoomies. Having a safe and secure yard would give me the freedom to play and explore to my heart's content. Plus, it means we can have some fantastic fetch sessions together!
I have a little confession to make too. Sometimes, I can't resist the urge to chew on things. It's a bit of a habit, you know? So it would be wonderful if my new humans could provide me with plenty of chew toys to keep me occupied and redirect my chewing instincts away from the furniture and your favorite shoes. With the right toys, I'll be entertained and content for hours!
Last but not least, it's important to mention that I do have a voice, and sometimes, I can't help but bark. It's my way of communicating and expressing myself. So, living in an apartment might not be the best fit for me. I wouldn't want to disturb my neighbors or get into any unnecessary trouble.
