Our German shepherd rescue may have gone a little astray recently but one look at our German shepherd "mix" Zena and anyone can see why we had to save her. Aside from being drop dead gorgeous, this girl is a total sweetheart. Ms. Zena came to us scared, confused, malnourished and unloved but she opened up to us and we were able to see that very special little girl living in that tiny body. This young lady is now quite healthy, very social, laid back, good with other dogs and thrives on human attention. Zena is 15 -18 months old, medium long black coat, will probably be over 50 pounds, tremendously attentive and just darned cute!

Our girl performed very well in our socialization and training programs completing all phases with excellence. From this program we were able to discern that Zena had a strong desire to bond, thrive in all aspects of training, a strong but in control protective instinct and an absolute joy for life. This little lady would thrive in almost any household that has a loving environment and plenty of time for her. We believe that Zena is probably a German shepherd, Border collie mix which if we are correct is a tremendous blend of intelligence, agility, strength and work ethic. The one phrase that best describes MS Zena “bigger than life love sponge". This girl is the ultimate companion dog!!!!
