++++ FOSTER NEEDED ++++. We are looking for a local San Diego foster for Catalina. She is the mama to our Island Litter. We believe she is a lab/shep mix and due to her tragic life so far, she has lost an eye from catastrophic injury. She needs someone with patience and understanding that rescue dogs sometimes need a little extra care to feel safe and trusting. She does well with male dogs and non alpha females, no kitties though. If you can foster Catalina please submit an application though our website at www.amazingstraysrescue.org. We provide all the supplies you would need and even more on request. Please help us help them.

If your adoption application is selected as the best fit to continue in the adoption process, a volunteer will contact you.

Home Check

After reviewing your application and phone interview, we will conduct a home check.

Meet the Pet

The ASR volunteer will help coordinate a play date between you and the foster so you can meet the pet.

We are a 100% volunteer based rescue and due to the large number of adoption applications we receive, we are unable to respond to each individual applicant. If your application is selected to continue in the adoption process, a volunteer will contact you via the phone number provided on your adoption application.

Amazing Strays Rescue knows that our strength lies not only in the words we stand by but most importantly, through the actions of our initiatives. Back in 2018, realized that by working with Shelters we could overcome our challenges much more efficiently, and that is why we ultimately decided to launch Amazing Strays Rescue.
