Notes: Rollie aka Raleigh is a young handsome man who enjoys company. He gets sad and cries when his people aren't around. He likes other dogs and is learning to play. Raleigh is a puppy still but fairly calm for his age. He has a great mind and is learning quickly.

To anyone considering adopting Rollie aka Raleigh,

He may even answer to goober, as he is a true goober. He would be best suited for someone that works from home or his home frequently, as he has bad separation anxiety. He gets himself worked up and he will pee and poop in the crate. Despite having already been outside a minimum of four times that morning. He stays crated when I am away, as he likes to counter surf and walk off with my slippers and blocks of wood. You know, normal puppy things. ;) He has been here 3 weeks and has yet to randomly go to the bathroom in the house, just in the crate. He knows how to use a dog door and likes to lay outside. He would even try to do so on the scorching hot days. If my female cat runs, he will chase her, BUT at the same time he can go nose to nose with my unafraid, oblivious male cat with no issues at all. He is uneasy with men, but at the same time my brother and his two sons came
last weekend and he randomly decided he was ok with them. Raleigh will need time and patience. Despite all the above scary sounding things, you notice I have not "returned to sender". He has so much love to give and is still learning how to be a puppy. Or maybe just be. Earlier I caught him just rolling around in my bed all in the covers. He is mischievous and still learning to snuggle. His version of snuggling is plopping, possibly on your head, and smacking you in the face (repeatedly) with his feet. Again, not once have I said, I can't handle this dog anymore. He really just needs stability and to know he is loved and home. So, if you read all of this and are not scared away, give our boy a chance.

P.S.- He may act like a big baby at bath time, but actually does really well once forced into the tub.

Sincerely,
Raleigh's foster mom
