My story

Maggie came to us during the pandemic, when there was little interaction with others. We bought her thinking she was a 13 week old puppy. The hand-off was brief, and we were inexperienced dog owners. When I took her to the vet that weekend, we were informed that she was not a puppy and was more like a 2-3 year old dog.
We realized we had been scammed, and the more we got to know Maggie, we realized she had probably been abused. She is, therefore, skittish around men at first but not aggressive. Once she warms up, however, she is fine. She only needs gentle correction and guidance.
Maggie is so sweet and gentle. She loves chasing squirrels and birds, and she loves children!
She is not currently getting the attention she deserves, so we are seeking a loving family that will be able to give her the love she deserves.
