Here's what the humans have to say about me:
🐾KING 👑
King is a 10 month old red heeler mix, that is VERY loved by his foster mama!
This handsome boy was found as a stray in December, and on a euthanasia list at a local shelter in May as just a puppy still. He deserves to find the best family who will continue to show him all the great things about dog life in a home. 🏡
King is crate trained, 90% potty trained, walks great on leash, is working on his off leash recall, LOVES other dogs, and does well in public spaces. He is calm when meeting new dogs and people, is great in the car and loves learning all about life. He has “sit” down pat and is also working on “wait” and “paw.” King was previously fostered with a cat so I think he would do well in a home with a cat and seems to like kids but hasn’t lived with them!🖤
King is medium energy and would do well in an active home that understands his breed. He is a little lower energy than a typical heeler, but loves to be outside, go for walks, go for hikes, and meet new friends. When he meets new humans he sits right at their feet and waits to be pet and sometimes even gives hugs. In the house, he is quiet and loves to cuddle, as well as play with toys and other dogs. King would benefit from having another dog in the home as he looks to my dogs for help with some cues as he is learning. 🐶
