Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Angelo is a beautiful black long haired adult cat (estimated DOB: 6/1/2016) whose foster describes him as a very sweet and goofy boy who loves belly rubs. He can be shy with new people and may hide if things get too loud or busy, but he will warm up with time, treats, and gentle voices. Once you've earned his trust, he will be your best buddy, hanging out in whatever room you're in. He is a big cuddler with an even bigger purr and will be a great companion during cold winter nights. He loves flopping on the floor, chasing laser pointers, napping, and being chatty. He especially enjoys a good window to watch birds or any other outside drama.
Angelo has made incredible progress since he was transferred to PPAH from the Southern Illinois Human Society in May 2020. Initially fearful and shy, he has transformed into a confident, loving cat.
Angelo loves other cats and would thrive in a home with another relaxed, friendly, non-dominant cat. But, as long as he has a human friend who will give him plenty of company, Angelo will be content. He will be happiest with a gradual introduction to his new home and would benefit from access to a quiet room while he gets his bearings. Angelo has proven to be adaptable but would do best in a mostly quiet and predictable home that will offer him the company he craves.

All animals are already spayed/neutered, FIV/FeLV tested negative, micro-chipped, de-wormed and have all necessary shots. They are ready to go to a loving home. Adoption fee is $150.00.
