Meet handsome Jackson! Jackson is a black Labradoodle, 8 months old and approximately 50 lbs. His short life so far has been lived with a breeder exclusively, so he is still getting used to life with caring humans. Jackson is warming up nicely with his foster family and his new big foster sister, a 2 year old Sheepadoodle, with whom he gets along beautifully. (He has not been introduced to cats) Jackson will require a family with a lot of patience and understanding as he adjusts to indoor family life with humans that love him. He is energetic and curious and learning what treats and toys are. He loves to play chase with his foster sister and wonders why he gets to come inside to eat, play and sleep in his comfy crate. He has done quite well pottying only outside thus far but he's making no promises quite yet on that front. While he is still a bit timid and shy around new human friends, he always wants to be in close proximity to his "people" and continues to get closer and closer to them each day.

While Jackson doesn't seem to shed, he will require regular daily brushing and professional grooming. Please consider this added expense/maintenance when applying.

Jackson will be neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and tested for heartworms. His adoption fee is $500 and you can apply to meet/adopt him here:
