Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Hadley!
Snort, snort, toot! Ope, excuse me! I’m Hadley, and I’m just so excited to make your acquaintance! In fact, I am just pretty excited overall. I joined rescue after losing one of my elderly parents. They had taken amazing care of me, even in the last two years after I became paralyzed. I lost my mobility as a result of IVDD. I had surgery in hopes of regaining the ability to walk, but it just didn’t turn out that way. But, don’t you go feeling sorry for me. I am one happy girl! I am just about 6 years old, and I weigh a fit 17 pounds. I am incredibly active, and love rocking a drag bag and scooting around the house. I follow my foster mom all over and often carry a toy. I do get pretty vocal when she has to leave me, but I calm down after a few minutes. I just thought I’d share in case you share a wall with neighbors. They may not enjoy hearing my grievances. I get along great with other dogs, and love meeting people of all ages out and about. I don’t give a hoot about cats either, so we could definitely coexist.
Now, under that drag bag- you will find a diaper. I need bladder expressions to ensure I stay healthy, but also leak a bit sometimes. I can go number two on my own, but again am incontinent. Its just a little labor of love for a gal who is big time worth it! I have a wheelchair and lots of other helpful supplies that will join me in my forever home, and the rescue can tell you all you need to know to set us up for success!

Disclaimer: It is VERY difficult even for a veterinarian to tell the exact age of a dog over two years old. From one vet to another, we can get different age estimates on the same dog and they can vary by several years. We are only making an educated guess based on a few factors like teeth, fur color, and overall body condition, but for dogs who have not been given adequate vet care and food, it can be even more difficult. Every dog is an individual, and we do our very best to age appropriately but make no guarantees as to the age of any dog in our program.
